United Tooling Solutions Limited — Scott Direct's parent company — and Grahams Machinery Sales Limited entered administration on 18 June 2026, with Kris Aspin, Lucy Winterborne and Sam Woodward of EY-Parthenon appointed joint administrators by the directors. The group traded through Scott Direct, Drakes Tooling & Abrasives and Grahams Machinery Sales across 11 branches, and has been reported as having largely ceased trading, with 75 redundancies made immediately.
Scott Direct Limited (company number SC152342) remains listed as active at Companies House and the administrators have not confirmed whether any branches or brands can be preserved.
