About Bolle

Bollé was founded in 1888 at Oyonnax in the French Jura by Séraphin Bollé, moved into celluloid eyewear in the 1920s, and adopted its crown logo in 1936. It has manufactured safety eyewear since the 1950s, with Bollé Safety established as a distinct business in 1994. Today it is one of the largest eye protection specialists in the world, worn by around 20 million workers across more than 100 countries.

The defining technology is PLATINUM — Bollé's permanent anti-fog and anti-scratch coating, applied to both lens faces. It is the reason Bollé lenses survive being wiped on a sleeve far longer than uncoated alternatives, and the reason they stay clear moving between a cold yard and a warm workshop. The range covers safety spectacles, sealed and vented goggles, overspecs worn over prescription glasses, and specialist tints including welding shades and clear, smoke, CSP and twilight options.

Eye protection is the PPE category where people cheat most — usually because the glasses fog, scratch or pinch. Specifying Bollé tends to fix the compliance problem rather than the paperwork problem. We supply engineering, fabrication, construction, laboratory and food production clients across Scotland.

There are currently 45 products from Bolle in the catalogue, covering eye protection, ppe, safety specs & visors and eyewear cleaning, from £4.08 ex VAT. Everything is available on business terms, with trade pricing that improves with volume. Orders over £150 ex VAT are delivered free, and most stocked lines dispatch for next-day delivery.
