About Dunlop
Dunlop's heritage in protective footwear runs back to 1888, and for most of the last forty years the brand has been defined by one material: Purofort. Introduced in the early 1980s, Purofort is a closed-cell polyurethane made under a high-pressure process exclusive to Dunlop, giving millions of evenly distributed air pockets — which is why a Purofort boot is dramatically lighter and warmer than the rubber or PVC wellington it replaced.
The range covers safety and non-safety wellingtons across S4 and S5 ratings, with steel and composite toecaps, penetration-resistant midsoles and SRC slip-resistant outsoles. The FoodPro white lines are built specifically for food processing and hygiene-critical environments, and Purofort's thermal properties hold down to around −20°C, which matters for chilled and frozen storage as much as for outdoor winter work.
