About Mapa
MAPA was founded in 1948 when Robert Marret and Jean Paturel opened their first factory at Villiers-le-Bel near Paris — the name is a contraction of MArret and PAturel. The industrial division followed in 1978 and the Mapa Professional brand in 1988. Today the brand is part of Newell Brands.
From Mapa Professional we stock two gloves. The Jersette 301 is a natural rubber coated glove with a seamless textile lining, made for long work with diluted acids and bases; it is certified to EN 388 (2131X) and EN ISO 374-1 Type B. The Ultrane 541 is a nitrile foam glove built for comfort and fingertip dexterity, with Mapa's ResiComfort coating for durability; it can be washed once at 40 °C and is OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified.
