About QED

QED is Beeswift's hearing protection brand — the range built to make earplugs and defenders a cost you barely notice, so there is no excuse for not issuing them. Beeswift has manufactured and wholesaled PPE from the West Midlands since 1981, and QED covers the hearing category across its catalogue.

The range covers soft mouldable foam earplugs in uncorded, corded and metal-detectable versions — the last being essential in food and pharmaceutical production, where a lost plug has to be findable. Bulk packs such as the QED301 suit dispenser-fed supply. On the defender side, the QED27, QED31, QED33 and QED506 offer padded ear cups at different attenuation ratings for extended wear.

Noise-induced hearing loss is permanent and entirely preventable, and the honest barrier is usually availability rather than cost — people do not wear protection that is not to hand. QED bulk packs make it cheap enough to put a dispenser at every entrance. We supply manufacturing, engineering, food production, construction and quarrying clients across Scotland.

There are currently 7 products from QED in the catalogue, covering ear plugs, hearing protection and ppe, from £23.25 ex VAT. Everything is available on business terms, with trade pricing that improves with volume. Orders over £150 ex VAT are delivered free, and most stocked lines dispatch for next-day delivery.
