About Ergodyne
Ergodyne was founded in 1983 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and has spent four decades on the parts of worker safety that traditional PPE tends to ignore — heat stress, cold stress, vibration and strain.
Our Ergodyne range covers both ends of the thermometer and the hands in between. For cold weather there are N-Ferno hard hat winter liners — the two-layer fleece winter liner and the 2-layer economy liner — and an ice traction attachment with steel studs that stretches over boots. For heat there is a Chill-Its evaporative cooling vest. For hands there are ProFlex gloves: an impact-reducing glove with TPR back-of-hand armour, and full-finger and fingerless anti-vibration gloves certified to ISO 10819.
Anti-vibration gloves reduce, but do not remove, exposure to hand-arm vibration, so they sit alongside tool selection and limiting time on the tool. For more winter kit, see our helmet liners.

- Do anti-vibration gloves stop hand-arm vibration?
- They reduce it. Gloves certified to ISO 10819 lower the vibration reaching the hand, but they should be used alongside low-vibration tools and limits on exposure time.
- Will an N-Ferno liner fit my hard hat?
- The liners fit under most standard hard hats and fasten with a hook and loop chin strap. Check the fit with your helmet before ordering for a whole team.
