About Ergodyne

Ergodyne was founded in 1983 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and has spent four decades on the parts of worker safety that traditional PPE ignores — heat stress, cold stress, musculoskeletal strain and dropped objects. It trades as Tenacious Holdings and is now a Klein Tools company. Where most PPE brands protect against a sudden event, Ergodyne mostly protects against the cumulative kind, which is where the majority of lost days actually come from.

ProFlex covers hand protection, knee pads and back and wrist supports. Chill-Its is the evaporative and phase-change cooling line — towels, cooling vests and hard hat liners. N-Ferno handles the other end with thermal liners, balaclavas and hand warmers. Squids is the tool tethering system, which has become a compliance issue in its own right as dropped-object standards tightened. GloWear covers hi-vis, Skullerz head and eye protection, Trex traction devices and SHAX portable work shelters.

Ergodyne is the range we bring up when a client's incident log is full of back strains, heat exhaustion or things falling from height rather than cuts and impacts. Common in construction, utilities, logistics, foundries and work at height across Scotland. Tool tethering in particular is worth reviewing if you have any work over occupied areas.

There are currently 10 products from Ergodyne in the catalogue, covering ppe, head protection, helmets and hand protection, from £6.08 ex VAT. Everything is available on business terms, with trade pricing that improves with volume. Orders over £150 ex VAT are delivered free, and most stocked lines dispatch for next-day delivery.
