About Kask

KASK was founded in 2004 by Angelo Gotti in the Bergamo area of Lombardy, and every helmet is developed and made in Italy. It is a comparatively young company in a category dominated by century-old names, and it earned its position by treating an industrial helmet the way a cycling or mountaineering brand treats a helmet — as a fitted piece of equipment rather than a shell that sits on the head.

The Zenith and Zenith X families are the industrial core: polypropylene outer shell over an expanded polystyrene inner, four-point crossed chinstrap with a quick-release system, and certification to EN 397 and EN 12492 — meaning one helmet covers both general site use and work at height. Zenith X uses a BASF Neopor Ccycled EPS liner, and the range includes vented and non-vented, hi-vis and combo visor configurations, adjustable from 52 to 63 cm.

KASK is the specification for work at height, rope access, arboriculture, rail and any site where a helmet that stays on during a fall is not optional. It costs more than a basic EN 397 shell — the trade-off is that people wear it properly, and one helmet covers two standards instead of issuing two. We supply KASK to construction, utilities and access clients across Scotland.

There are currently 16 products from Kask in the catalogue, covering ppe, head protection, helmets and ear defenders, from £8.17 ex VAT. Everything is available on business terms, with trade pricing that improves with volume. Orders over £150 ex VAT are delivered free, and most stocked lines dispatch for next-day delivery.
