Is all orange Leo hi-vis approved for rail?

No. Leo certifies each colour of each style separately. The table on this page lists only the colours that meet RIS-3279-TOM, and each product page shows the same.

Can I wear Leo yellow hi-vis on Network Rail sites?

Not on Network Rail infrastructure, where orange to RIS-3279-TOM is required.

Are the Bideford CT01 trousers rail-approved?

Yes, in orange, orange/navy and orange/grey. They are Class 1, so they are worn with a certified orange top.

Can you add our logo without breaking the certification?

Yes. We position logos so the garment keeps its certification. See custom workwear.

Leo rail hi-vis (RIS-3279-TOM)

Anyone working on or near Network Rail infrastructure needs orange hi-vis certified to RIS-3279-TOM, the rail industry standard built on EN ISO 20471. Most of the Leo range is certified to it, but only in orange colours: the yellow versions of the same style are not.

The table lists every Leo style we sell that Leo certifies to RIS-3279-TOM, the orange colours that qualify and each style's EN ISO 20471 class. Leo's data sheet for each colour is on its product page. For the rest of a trackside kit (helmets, boots and gloves) see our rail PPE page.
