PPE for food processing and production
Food production needs PPE that protects the product as well as the person. Anything that could fall into a line should be metal-detectable, hair and beards must be covered, and visitors need disposable coats and overshoes. We stock detectable earplugs and hairnets, beard masks, visitor coats, overshoes and disposable gloves by the case, plus S5 wellingtons for washdown floors and insulated options for cold stores.

Questions
- Why use detectable earplugs?
- If one is lost, the line's metal detector can find it before it reaches the product. Most food-safety audits expect detectable consumables on the line.
- Are your disposable gloves food safe?
- Check each product's markings for food contact. Nitrile is the usual choice and avoids latex allergy issues.
- Do you supply visitor packs?
- Yes. Visitor coats, overshoes, hairnets and detectable earplugs are all available by the case.
