About Ansell

Ansell traces its origins to 1905, when Eric Norman Ansell acquired machinery from Dunlop's Melbourne operation and founded the Ansell Rubber Company. Household rubber gloves followed by 1925, and in the 125 years since, Ansell has been responsible for a run of firsts that shaped the industry: the first automated glove machine, the first gamma-irradiated sterile surgical glove, and the first knit-and-dip platform — HyFlex — that gave industry a credible alternative to leather.

We stock the industrial families. HyFlex covers coated knits from thin, high-dexterity assembly gloves through to cut-resistant models with FORTIX abrasion technology. TouchNTuff is the disposable nitrile line, including the 93-800 — the first disposable glove to offer at least fifteen minutes of acetone resistance, using MICROCHEM barrier technology. Solvex handles serious chemical immersion work, and Microflex covers examination-grade disposables.
