Ecospill — frequently asked questions

Where are Ecospill products made?

Ecospill manufactures its own absorbents, spill pallets, safety stores and wipes from its site in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

What do the colours of Ecospill absorbents mean?

Grey is maintenance (general purpose) for oils, coolants and water-based fluids. White is oil-only: it absorbs oils and fuels but repels water, so it can be used outdoors and on water. Yellow is chemical, for acids, alkalis and aggressive or unknown liquids.

What size Ecospill spill kit do I need?

The litre size of a kit is roughly how much liquid it can absorb. Choose a kit at least as large as the biggest single container that could leak in that area, and add a second kit or top-ups where several containers are stored together.

Do you sell refills for Ecospill spill kits?

Yes. Pads, socks and pillows in each colour are sold separately, so a kit can be restocked after use.
