About Moldex

Moldex-Metric is a German manufacturer based at Walddorfhäslach, near Stuttgart, with more than 400 employees across eight European locations and its own production site in the Czech Republic. That European manufacturing base is the brand's defining feature: when FFP2 and FFP3 demand spiked across Europe in 2020, Moldex was one of very few manufacturers still able to supply in full, precisely because it does not depend on imported components.

The disposable respirator range covers FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3 in cupped, moulded and flat-fold formats, valved and unvalved, including the AIR series with its distinctive low breathing resistance. The reusable Series 8000 and 7000 half masks take exchangeable filters on a soft TPE mask body, and the hearing protection line — in production since 1986 — uses a PVC-free foam formulation that balances softness against the stability needed for a reliable roll-down fit.
