From the manufacturer's specification. Check the garment label for the edition in use.

The Mekong is the yellow version of the Danube: a 3-layer GORE-TEX® salopette for highways, utilities and civils teams who spend the day kneeling, crouching or working at ground level in the wet. Coming up to the chest, it keeps water off the waist and lower back, where over trousers leave a gap.

It is certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 2 and rated EN 343 4:4:R: the top class for waterproofing and for breathability, tested as a finished garment in a rain tower. The 3-layer fabric has no loose lining, and the seams are fully taped.

Elastic braces with quick-release buckles make it quick to get in and out of. The back waist is elasticated, the front has a two-way zip with two sliders, and the ankles have zips and gussets to open over boots.

Pair it with the yellow Amazon, Colorado or Congo jacket.

What it isn't: the Mekong is not certified for rail work (choose the orange Danube) and has no flame-retardant rating.
