From the manufacturer's specification. Check the garment label for the edition in use.
The Colorado is the GORE-TEX® answer for people who climb, kneel and get in and out of cabs and plant all day, where a long coat catches on everything. It is a hip-length 2-layer GORE-TEX® bomber with elastication at the hem to keep the weather out at the waist.
It carries the same ratings as the full-length jackets: EN ISO 20471 Class 3 and EN 343 4:4:R, the top class for waterproofing and for breathability, with a rain tower test on the finished garment. The seams are fully taped and it has a polyester lining.
The front closes with a two-way zip with two sliders under a double storm flap with press studs, and the cuffs are elasticated with hook-and-loop adjusters. It has a chest pocket, two lower pockets with flaps and an internal patch pocket.
The orange Colorado is certified to RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2 for Network Rail work. The yellow one is not.
What it isn't: a bomber covers less of the body than a coat, so pair it with the Rhine over trousers or salopettes in heavy rain. It has no flame-retardant rating and comes without a hood.
